Two shapes that almost meet — the space between them is where futures begin.
Constellation wire · Ceramic nodes

Not the absence of fear — the decision to stand where the ground is untested.
Unglazed porcelain · Soft ellipse
Surface study: before the first mark
An unbroken curve. The self before it learned to explain itself.
Paired volumes · Shared horizon line
Spatial diagram: proximity without fusion
Two forms beside one another. Neither identical, neither alone.
Six environments. Each one a spatial metaphor for the decisions that quietly rewrite who we become.
A threshold with no inscription. Visitors must choose without knowing what the choice is called — only how it feels to step through.
What would you walk toward if no one was watching?
Steps that widen as they ascend — or descend. Direction is a matter of perspective. Progress is a matter of faith.
Are you climbing toward something, or away from it?
A span suspended between two unnamed shores. The middle is the only place where both sides remain visible.
What are you willing to leave behind to cross?
Four paths meet in absolute quiet. No signs. No footsteps. Only the weight of standing still before moving on.
Which direction have you avoided the longest?
An entire urban skyline made of creased paper — fragile, temporary, endlessly rebuildable. Every fold is a decision that cannot be fully undone.
What version of your life exists only as a crease?
Rooms that look into rooms that look into rooms. Every window frames another self — none of them quite the one you expected.
Whose gaze are you performing for?
Eight artifacts on quiet plinths. Each one holds a story that refuses to be summarized — only witnessed.
Reserved for the person you almost became.
Words that were written and never sent — still warm.
It no longer points north. It points inward.
Transparent enough to see through. Fragile enough to matter.
Every relationship is a length of something wound carefully.
Weight without instruction. Presence without demand.
Worn once for protection. Kept for remembrance.
The blank regions are not errors. They are invitations.
Oversized museum guestbooks left open on reading tables. Anonymous hands. Unfinished thoughts. The quiet residue of those who walked through before you.
I stood in front of the mirror for a long time. Not looking at my face — looking at the spaces between the reflections. There were more of me than I expected.

If you could leave one version of yourself in a room forever — which would it be?
Someone drew a small door in the corner. No handle. Just a door.
Annotated in copper ink · Archive ref. J–221
The empty chair made me cry and I don't know why. I think it was for someone I haven't met yet — or someone I already was.
Curator note: Object 04.01 — recurring emotional response
What part of you is still waiting for permission to exist?
A pressed flower fell from between the pages. No one claimed it. We left it there.
Pressed flora retained · Specimen F–07
I walked the Corridor three times. Each time I chose a different door. Each time I arrived somewhere I already knew — and somehow didn't.
Visitor completed all six environments · Rare
When did you last surprise yourself?
Handwriting shifts mid-sentence — as if a different person finished the thought.
Graphological interest · Filed under Transformations
The light in the last room felt like forgiveness. I sat on the bench until the museum closed. No one asked me to leave.
Closing hour extended · Curatorial discretion
What will you take with you that you cannot hold?
The rest of this page is blank. Intentionally. It waits for you.
Blank space preserved · Do not archive
Towering cabinets of exhibition files. An institution's memory of becoming — catalogued, stamped, and never quite complete.
Filed sequences of selfhood — chronological, contradictory, and carefully unfinished.
Bound volumes of lived narrative. Some chapters were rewritten in different handwriting.
Empty folders labeled with titles never used. The archive of what almost happened.
Single-frame records of irreversible turns — dated, annotated, occasionally unsigned.
Topographic studies of emotional terrain. Contours of longing, plateaus of peace.
Speculative dossiers. Identities not yet inhabited — held open like doors without locks.
Beautifully printed museum catalogs — six volumes from the permanent publishing program. Embossed, annotated, and meant to be held.
